Learning Styles

1.list 3 of your strongest learning styles.
Spatial and Musical. Spatial is where you learn best with pictures, drawings and is associated with abstract thinking.
Musical involves rhythms and music, melodies and often recognize patterns in sounds and music.

2.list 3 of your weakest learning styles.
the 3 lowest scores were in Logical, Verbal and Kinesthetic. Logical involves reasoning and has to do with math, i can see why i got a low score in that area. Verbal[linguistic] works with words and has to do with reading, writing and are good with words and language. Kinesthetic, learning by dancing, running, jumping, body language.

3.using your answers to questions 1 ans 2, list 3 things you can do to improve the way you learn.

i could study with music to help me study better and pay more attention in math class to help the logical learning style. i'm not sure about verbal, normally iam good with words just not inside of school or public speaking around school or working. there's not much about Kinesthetic, i think that is just a way you learn and there isn't much to do about it.

for the activity you had to look at certain pictures and drawings and say what you think of them and explain why.

2)What point was the activity trying to make?

i think the point of this activity was to show that pictures can change your point of view and what you think. they can change peoples opinions and show different views on past events or current events.

3)What did you learn from the activity?
i've learned that african american citizens were treated very unfairely, although i knew that already the pictures on the site showed how drastically it needed to change. and how badly they were treated and the level of importance these issues contained.

first semester

1. what did you do well in first semester?

first semester the class i did best in was probably Spanish. i didn't do anything different than any other class in particularly but it was overall an easier subject.

2. what did you do poorly in first semester?

i did worst in Algebra and i'm still doing bad, and so is almost everyone else i know. it seems like so many people are failing but shouldn't that tell the administrators at school that there might be something wrong with the TEACHER and not the students??? i don't know why they hired mr.bear he doesn't seem to suit the job very well.

3. what do you need to do to get even better graeds for second semester?

i only need to turn in my homework and study more...i guess that might be alot but it shouldn't be much different from first semester. i just need exrta credit in math and ethnic studies. in all i do my homework but i'm too disorganized and i need to actually turn in my work. and realize how important tests and how much of the grade they are.

difficult/interesting

the most difficult thing we learned this semester was how to use dreamweaver and flash. it was hard remembering what to do and how. but it was interesting because we got to make everything our own and learned how to make our own websites and movies.
