in one class the person that was chosen for me needed help with an assignment. we sit near eachother so i helped her out. i didnt give the answer but helped w/instructions and explain what we were supposed to do.
a few days earlier she seemed upset but i dont know her all that well so it would have been so awkward and go up to her and just say hi or what's wrong or something of the sort.
i dont think this project should have been worth so many points, 50 points to be nice to someone you dont know is a bit odd to me. i just hope that helping someone with homework and classwork will get me credit

I hear you, but I had a feeling that students wouldn't do this activity unless if there's a big incentive. Would you have done it if it were only worth 5 points?
